Urban adventures: 5 towns with nature on their doorstep

If you’re after something a bit much less strenuous, the good-sized South Mountain Park and Preserve has numerous novice-friendly trails. The paved Judith Tunnell Accessible Trails right here beat an easy, scenic direction through the wasteland. 

Wherever you pass, take plenty of water: this is the Valley of the Sun in any case. 

5 Lexington, Kentucky
