Zusanli

First, we have ‘Zusanli’ also called, ST36.

 This pressure point is placed on the stomach meridian and influences the following.

Master Energy, Parasympathetic Nervous System and Upper Abdominal Organs.

The point location is around 3 inches beneath the kneecap and 1 inch towards the outer edge. Moreover, to massage this pressure point, you will have to keep two fingers on the ‘Zusanli’ spot and move them in a circular motion firmly and gently for 2-3 mins and then do the same on the other leg.

Sanyinjiao

Located on the spleen meridian, we have ‘Sanyinjiao’ also known as SP6. This point influences our lower abdominal organs and the Parasympathetic nervous system.

    It is positioned approx 3 inches over the bone of the inner ankle. To stimulate this spot, you will need to keep two fingers on the specific pressure point and move it in a circular motion for 2-3 mins and repeat the method on the other leg.

Qihai

Next is ‘Qihai’, also called CV6, positioned on the conception vessel meridian. This point influences the lower abdominal organs and Overall energy.

    Located at 1 and 1/2 inches below the navel. To massage it, you place two or three fingers on the point and massage it very gently for 2-3 minutes.

Zhongwan'

Positioned at the conception vessel meridian, ‘Zhongwan'(CV12)influences our Upper abdominal organs and yang organs(Gallbladder and Bladder). The point location of this point is approx 4 inches above the navel. Place three fingers on the ‘Zhongwan’, and by applying gentle pressure, massage the spot circularly for 2-3 minutes.

Weishu

Lastly, ‘Weishu’ is also called BL21 on the bladder meridian. It influences the abdominal pain and gastrointestinal disorders in our body. Approx 6 inches over the small of the back and 1 and 12 inches outwards on either side of the spine. To stimulate this point, keep one or two fingers on the spot and massage the point slowly in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes(Remember not to rub the area if you experience any contraindicated conditions)
