Exciting Stories of Shooting Days
On Ellen DeGeneres’s show, Courtney remembers the shooting of the sitcom’s iconic opening scene where the cast is dancing in a Burbank backlot fountain designed to look like Central Park’s Cherry Hill Fountain. She said, remembering that they were in that fountain for a long time. Somebody thought it would be just fun, and she cleared what really happens and that was not really fun dancing in a fountain for hours and hours.
Therefore, She proceeds to say that she remembers Matthew Perry saying at one point he could not remember the time when he was not in this fountain. They did not know each other well at that point. She felt like how much longer she had to pretend that she loved dancing in the water.
Ellen asked Courtney if the reunion had brought their memories back, to which she replied that she had the worst memory. Everything came up that she forgot about. Yet it was great and fun for all of them. There were lots of surprises, and it was fantastic.
On the Graham Norton Show, David Schwimmer, who played the role of Ross Geller, Monica’s brother, verified that they would be presenting in the reunion as themselves, not in the characters. He explained that everything is unscripted. They all are themselves.
The release date yet to be announced by HBO.
