New Mexico: Rio Grande Gorge Bridge +1-866-869-5359

The Rio Grande Gorge is an unexpected 1,300-foot-wide break in northern New Mexico’s level, void tablelands. A two-lane blacktop on a scaffold built in 1965, US 64 crosses it. Its designers included walkways – – obviously for travellers, as there’s no reason anyone would be walking around here in the middle of nowhere alongside little yards that stick out over the void. Except for a chest-high guardrail, there’s nothing between you and your camera and a 650-foot drop into the canyon!
