Life by the Bay

Lapping water and Gulf breezes: We ought to be at the coast! Goose Island offers tenting, fishing, and birding along St. Charles and Aransas bays, north of Corpus Christi.

Things to Do

Fishing

Kids

Civilian Conservation Corps

The CCC started work here clearing, planting timber, and being concerned for the Big Tree. Later, the CCC men built the contemporary undertaking hall out of shell crete the use of oyster shells.
