The RTX 3070 is currently selling for roughly $1,300 on the used market, while the 3080 is routinely selling for $2,000 or more. Whether you’re lucky enough to get one of these cards from the source or not, you’ll spend a lot more than MSRP. Retailers often sell RTX 3070 devices for roughly $700 to $800, while the 3080 sells for well over $1,000.
This is because of the ongoing GPU shortage. Interruptions in supply chains, increased interest from digital money diggers, and tariffs on cars imported from China have all contributed to low stockpiles and popularity, resulting in a particular something – excessive prices. The RTX 3070 is undeniably less expensive than the RTX 3080, so the lower execution of the RTX 3070 isn’t as a very remarkable misfortune when you consider what you save money on cost.
