Amridge University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Associate, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Divinity, Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Science degrees. How to apply to Amridge University?

To apply for programs at Amridge University, applicants must submit official high school transcripts if they did not receive college credit after high school graduation and official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended if they received additional credits. Applicants for master’s programs must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, and applicants for a doctoral degree must have a master’s degree or higher. 

Associate and undergraduate students must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, while graduate students must provide transcripts demonstrating successful completion of a four-year program of study at a nationally accredited institution.   

Students must have a GPA of 3.0 in all Montgomery Bible School courses and pass the entire exam. The first bachelor’s degrees were awarded by the Montgomery Bible School in 1953, and the school became Alabama Christian College the following year.    

Where is the University affiliated to?

Amridge University is affiliated with the Church of Christ, and its primary function is as a seminary that provides training and education for Christian and biblical counselling pastors. It was formerly known as Alabama Christian Religious Institute, Southern Christian University and Regional University, and the predecessor of Alabama Christian College.

 Amridge University has approximately 60 full-time and more than 25 part-time faculty members who teach traditional and online courses to provide students with the best possible education. Since then, the university has expanded its academic offerings and even offers some online courses. Amridge University degrees are awarded by one of five colleges and academic schools.   

In addition, Montgomery Bible School also offers scholarships through various university programs to make the college accessible to more students.
